Elephant

Hmmm, so it's not really a doll, strictly speaking, but it is beautiful! and it is made by Laura Normandin who does make dolls too.

Sweet Doll

I was wandering around our local toy shop and I saw this doll looking down at me from a high shelf and I really did want to bring her home with me quite a lot.
She is made by Moulin Roty.

Edith

Edith is my new style crush. I love the way she mixes pattern and colour, it all looks so effortless and yet so elegant. Autumn is definitely upon us now so while she was staying she asked for something to keep out the chilly weather. I think she was happy with the shrug she commissioned.

Ilsa

Ooh what a beautiful mover Ilsa is. She has a figure to die for and practiced perfecting her arabesque 'til the cows came home. I loved watching her skip and dance through the fields in
the late summer sunshine.

Miss Cabbage

There was so much work to be done in the garden when Miss Cabbage came to stay. She was such a great help and a fountain of knowledge - she certainly knows her onions!

Horatio

Oh Horatio!
I loved having you around. You were so spritely and full of fun and I'm
so late posting that I'm sure you've been getting up to all kinds of mischief since you left.

Miss Cabbage

Miss Cabbage has been to stay (Kate's doll) and what a delight she has been; she has baked constantly so all of my cake tins are full to brimming, she has cleaned the whole house top to bottom and she entertained the baby; she is a marvel!

Katy's Doll

There was a little girl,
who had a little curl,
right in the middle of her forehead
and when she was good
she was very, very good
and when she was bad she was horrid.

She's on her way!

Sorry ladies!

Finally I got round to creating my doll...and posted her, only to find I couldn't bear to part with her...so had to reclaim her and make a new one(which actually looks the same if you're not as pernickety as me!)...so off she's gone...little Ilsa, the second...to make her way round visiting you all over the next few months!

She's closely followed by Alice's doll...who's been in my care and has received a fine head of hair that she's quite delighted with. We worked for ages getting the style she wanted...She's excited to show you all!
So my huge apologies for the hold up, but I'm in full swing now!

Better late than never!
Here's young Horatio taking shape. I do hope he's behaving on his travels!

Meet Edith.

This is Edith. She is a very lovely lady. I have kept her a blank canvas (almost...it's so hard to stop!) and I cannot wait to see what features she picks up along the way.
Now to get to work on Apolline's beautiful creation....
Love Alice x

Dolls Clothes

I would like this outfit for myself! I found them on another blog of pretty children's things.
